Metal Braces

Metal braces are metal devices that are used to help support a broken bone. Metal braces can be used for many different types of fractures. Some of the most common uses include:

– Fractures in the arms, legs and feet
– Fractures in the jaw
– Fractures in the back
– Fractures in the shoulder
– Fractures in the elbow
– Fractures in the hip
– Fractures in the wrist

There are many different types of metal braces available. The type of metal brace you need will depend on the type of fracture you have and where it is located. In general, metal braces come in two different types:

– Immobilization devices
– Support devices

Immobilization devices are usually used to immobilize a joint or a limb while the patient heals. These types of metal braces may be used for fractures in the knee, ankle, wrist and elbow.

Support devices are designed to provide support to a fractured bone. These metal braces are usually used to support a broken bone while it heals. Some of these metal braces are also used to immobilize a joint.

Both types of metal braces are made of stainless steel. They are often made from titanium. Stainless steel and titanium are both good metals because they are strong and they do not rust. However, they are not as flexible as other metals like aluminum.

The types of metal braces available are determined by the type of fracture you have. For example, if you have a fracture in your foot, you would probably want a metal brace that has a flat bottom so that you can wear shoes over it. If you have a fracture in your arm, you would probably want a brace that has a U shape so that you can use a sling to keep the arm straight.
